We sent a lucky GoPro staffer to Bali to shoot some footage for our new Surf HERO board-mountable camera. Here we see local Balinese ripper, Wayan, getting his 70's thang on with style...backlit and everythang.

The Surf HERO is a combination of GoPro's new wide angle camera and a mount designed for high impact big wave surfing. These waves are tiny...only about shoulder high. But you can see how well the Surf HERO captures the excitement of even so so surf.

We met a couple of chill cats while in Bali...one of them was name Preston. Here's one of Preston's first waves with the Surf HERO mounted on the nose of his board. This wave is tiny...chest to shoulder high...and yet the Surf HERO makes it look like the smokin' good time that it was. GoPro recently picked up an EVO X to help develop our Motorsports HERO cameras. Here we're testing the new 170 degree wide angle lens Motorsports HERO Wide camera on a walkie talkie scouted back country road.

Good tip for mounting your GoPro inside of your car. If you want to get throaty engine sound like you hear on this video you should unscrew the glass lens on your camera's quick release housing. Save the lens for when you need the housing to be waterproof or need protection for the cameras lens. There's no need for it inside the car and you will get rad sound like in this video.
