Teton Village, Wyoming – On Saturday, September 18, approximately 2,000 avid TGR fans gathered at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort for the world premiere and second showing of TGR’s new 3D & HD ski film, Light The Wick.

“This week’s Almost Live focuses on what goes into naming each year’s film and explores the meaning of Light the Wick. As supervising producer Josh Nielsen puts it, “…we kept forging forward until we found something that everyone was super psyched on..and that’s basically what happened with Light the Wick.” – TGR

Former US Ski Team member Daron Rahlves joins the TGR crew in Alaska during this week’s Almost Live. While everyone is stoked to have him around, the terrain remains unforgiving and Rahlves takes a nasty crash on his first run while skiing a line off the shoulder of a granite feature known as the Devil’s Thumb. As Sage put it, “First run out of the gate, super gnarly exposure ripping the line into a super gnarly crash.” – TGR

Watch Tanner Hall hit one of the steepest lines that Alaska has to offer in his continued transition to big mountain riding. Tanner describes it as the sickest run of his life and mentions that no contest could ever bring him joy like that. In honor of some of the tastiest spines they’d ever skied and Tanner’s post-shred snack, the guys named the run “Pringles.” – TGR

“The crew heads to the previously unexplored Petersburg, Alaska. They find the terrain to be big and burly; everyone felt like they were floating in space due to its size.
