Motorsports HERO WIDE testing with Yamaha Factory Racing

Pardon the semi-rough sound. This is due to a prototype camera housing that was not sealed properly. The footage is so good we figured you'd forgive this pre-production faux pas :-)
GoPro is a proud sponsor of Yamaha Factory Racing. Normally we work with the supercross and motocross teams, but the Motorsports HERO WIDE edition of the camera is so nuttyhama that the road racing team said it was their turn to give it a go. And go, it did. Go you little GoPro...go go go.

GoPro sponsors Red Bull BMX ace, Kevin Robinson. We do this so that we can test our cameras doing crazy things that only guys like Kevin can do. Go for a ride with Kevin as he test the new Wide HERO from GoPro, coming out end of August, 2008. This was shot in Central Park, NYC on June 12 and was made possible by the one and only Red Bull. And the skills of Kevin Robinson, of course. Oh...and one badass wearable sports camera with a making 170 degree lens...the Wide HERO from GoPro.

Wide HERO Mountain Bike Demo – frame mounted

Mt. bike frame mounted demo of the Wide HERO. Nothing hectic on the riding...just testing. Mounts used were the standard side pivot arms and flat stick on mount that come with the Helmet HERO camera, attached to the top tube of the bike.
